This is something that gets me upset...

Why do some of our fellow immigrants have to resort to violence? Yesterday, near Westlake people were protesting the death of a Guatemalan immigrant at the hands of the police. Protesters said the man was a good man and the police's response was excessive.  The crowd got rowdy and then decided to start throwing bottles at the police officers, burning cans..and refusing orders to disperse. 

When reading more about the incident, I found that the guy was drunk, took out a knife and then moved to attack a police officer. The officer in turn shot and killed him.

Why are people protesting? And worse than anything else, why are these protesters attacking police?

This is one more argument for others to think of immigrant Latinos are violent and uncivilized people.
